You target your muscles head-to-toe, working them to exhaustion, then stretching them out, creating the long, lean muscles that used to be reserved only for dancers. Using your own body weight as resistance and the barre for balance creates a formula for a narrowed waistline, lifted butt, lean thighs, and sculpted arms.

Cardio Sculpt classes with Kristen are my absolute fave! I love everything about them: the excellent instruction, the killer workout, the great humor, the support of my fellow classmates, and the stunning lake view. This is hands down one of the best classes I’ve found in the Twin Cities.

My journey to the Barre Studio started with a friend taking me to a class shortly after my cancer treatment ended. I needed to find a place for me to workout for me. The Barre Studio came through. I had no idea what to expect, as I’m not a dancer and had never tried a Barre workout before. I left with my legs shaking and, over 500 classes later, still return for these workouts. Rachel and Paula are amazing owners (and instructors). They set up the studio with a positive environment, hire awesome instructors, and deliver each time you attend a class. Never any negative energy, you leave feeling great for the accomplishment you just made. Don’t worry if you’re older (like me) or have had joints replaced (like me) because each class can be modified to fit your needs. All the instructors are awesome at that. In the end, The Barre Studio is AWESOME and I recommend this spot, these owners, these instructors to anyone who wants a great workout.
